Profile Change History lets you see exactly what was edited—old value versus new value—on any Client or Pet Profile during the past 90 days.
How it looks
A small red pencil appears beside a field label whenever that field has been updated in the last three months.
The badge shows the number of edits to that field.
How to use it
Click the red pencil to open the change panel.
The panel lists every edit to that field, showing:
Date & time of the change
Name of the person who made it
Before → After values, so you can spot exactly what was added, removed, or corrected.
Close the panel or move to another field—no saving required.
Recent Changes on My Schedule
A red pencil icon appears on an upcoming My Schedule assignment when the client's profile or an active pet's profile contains a recent change that the logged-in staff member is allowed to view.
Click the pencil to open the client profile and review the changes. The change view shows the field, the previous and new values, when it changed, and who made the change. After you review the changes, the indicator clears for that client unless another visible profile change is made.
The My Schedule indicator is a prompt to review updated information before an upcoming visit. It does not replace the pencil badges beside individual fields on the Client and Pet Profiles.
Why it matters
Quick review: See precisely what a client altered—no need to reread an entire profile.
Confidence: Know who added a gate code, updated feeding notes, or changed contact information.
Lightweight: All inside the profile; no separate report to run.
Relation to the Activity Log
Activity Log & History (Admin › Activity Log) shows that something changed—across every page—for the last six months.
Profile Change History shows what changed inside a profile field, with the before/after text.
Use the Activity Log for broad audits; open the pencil icon for the detailed view. For more on the Activity Log, see Activity Log and History.
Note: Profile Change History covers the past 90 days. My Schedule only displays the Recent Changes indicator for upcoming visits and for changes the logged-in user has not already reviewed. Older edits remain searchable in the Activity Log's six-month record.
