Important Note About Branded Apps
If your company uses a branded version of the Precise Petcare app, be sure to search for and reference your company’s app name instead of "Precise Petcare" in your device settings.
1. GPS Location Tracking Issues
Accurate GPS tracking is essential for verifying visit locations and mileage. Follow these steps to ensure proper GPS functionality:
iOS
Open Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
Ensure Location Services is toggled On.
Scroll down to Precise Petcare and select Always.
Enable Precise Location.
Android
Open Settings > Apps > Precise Petcare > Location.
Select Allow All the Time.
Open Settings > Apps > Precise Petcare > Battery > Set to Unrestricted.
2. Push Notification Issues
If you're not receiving push notifications, check the following settings:
Device Notification Settings
iOS
Open Settings > Precise Petcare > Notifications.
Ensure Allow Notifications is toggled On.
Android
Open Settings > Apps > Precise Petcare > Notifications.
Ensure notifications are On.
App Notification Settings
Open the Precise Petcare app.
Navigate to Administrative > My Account.
Ensure Receive Push Notifications is On.
If notifications still do not work, logout and then log back in. Reinstalling the app should be a last resort, but it is a highly effective fix.
3. App Crashes or Performance Issues
If the app crashes or runs slowly, try the following steps:
Ensure You Have the Latest Version
Update via the App Store or Google Play Store.
Logout and Log Back In
Open the Precise Petcare app.
Open Navigation on the left, tap the Settings Cog, then select Logout.
