The Precise Petcare Zapier integration lets you automate workflows by connecting Precise Petcare with thousands of other web apps — no coding required. For example, you can sync client updates to your CRM, route billing events to your operations tools, or send notifications when new messages arrive.
Connecting Your Account
Visit the Precise Petcare Zapier Integration.
Click Connect and sign in using your Precise Petcare credentials.
During setup, Zapier will ask for your system URL (your Precise Petcare portal URL).
Once connected, you can begin creating Zaps using the triggers and actions below.
Available Triggers
Triggers are events that start your Zaps. When one of these happens in Precise Petcare, Zapier can automatically perform an action in another app.
Clients
New Client — Fires when a new client profile is created.
Updated Client — Fires when a client profile is updated.
Client Status Changed — Fires when a client’s status changes (Active/Inactive). (Inactive clients cannot log in.)
Client Lapsed (No Service in X Days) — Fires when a client reaches a no-service threshold you choose (default: 180 days).
First Service Completed — Fires when a client completes their first service.
Pets
New Pet — Fires when a new pet profile is created.
Updated Pet — Fires when a pet profile is updated.
Visits
New Visit — Fires when a new visit is created.
Updated Visit — Fires when an existing visit is updated.
Completed Visit — Fires when a visit is completed.
Visit Coverage At Risk (Starting Soon) — Fires when upcoming visits need staffing attention (for example, unassigned or otherwise not yet fully covered based on your scheduling settings).
Billing
Invoice Paid — Fires when an invoice is paid.
Payment Failed / Returned — Fires when a payment fails or is returned.
Invoice Overdue (Days) — Fires when an invoice reaches an overdue threshold you choose (for example: 7, 14, or 30 days).
Journals
Journal Submitted — Fires when a journal is submitted.
Journal Pending Approval — Fires when a journal is pending manager approval (if your account requires approval for some journals).
Other
New Rating — Fires when a new rating is added.
New Staff — Fires when a new staff account is created.
New Trip — Fires when a new trip is added.
New Message — Fires when a new message is received (includes the message reply-to address when available).
Available Actions
Actions are what Zapier performs in Precise Petcare when triggered by another app.
Clients
Create Client — Creates a new client profile.
Create Client and Invite — Creates a new client profile and sends the client invite.
Update Client — Updates core client fields and select office-only fields.
Staff
Create Staff — Creates a new staff account.
Update Staff — Updates an existing staff account.
Messages
Mark Message Read/Unread — Marks a message as read or unread.
Example Automations
When an invoice is paid → Create or update a record in your CRM or spreadsheet for revenue tracking.
When a client lapses (no service in X days) → Create a follow-up task in your CRM.
When a journal is submitted → Send the journal content to an external tool for review or logging.
When a new message is received → Notify your team in Slack or another communication tool.
