Email providers block messages that pretend to come from domains they don’t control. If your real address is bestdogwalkers@gmail.com, Gmail will treat a message sent from another server—yet claiming to be “bestdogwalkers@gmail.com”—as suspicious or spam.
To avoid that, Precise Petcare (and every white-label portal) sends email from a portal sender address on a domain we own for you:
YOURACCOUNT@PORTALMAILDOMAIN
Examples
Standard portals use preciseemail.net (e.g., dogwalkers@preciseemail.net).
White-label portals receive a custom mail domain that matches their branding.
How replies still reach you
Reply-To stays yours. In Communication › Communication Settings you set a “Portal Email Address” such as bestdogwalkers@gmail.com. That address remains the Reply-To on every message.
When a recipient clicks Reply, their response goes straight to your real inbox.
If someone writes directly to the portal address (dogwalkers@…), we automatically forward it to your real inbox, so nothing is lost.
Quick recap
Outgoing mail is sent from YOURACCOUNT@PORTALMAILDOMAIN.
Clients and staff who reply will email your original address.
Any direct mail to the portal address is auto-forwarded to you.
