Linking two or more portals lets you share staff accounts and run multi-location reports—all without mixing day-to-day data. It’s most common for franchises, yet any group of cooperating businesses can request it.
What you gain
Quick portal switch
Staff accounts flagged for more than one location see User Menu › Switch Portals. Pick a destination and the interface reloads in that portal—no extra login needed.
(In the mobile app—standard or branded—you can use only one portal at a time; switch portals in a browser if you need several open.)Multi-location reports
Reports remain portal-specific, yet a manager who has access to several locations can tick multiple portals in the reports and view totals side-by-side or combined.Shared staff accounts—nothing else
Visits, clients, and money never merge across portals. The link only lets a single staff record belong to more than one portal (it still counts toward staff limits in every portal it touches).Client copy tool
Administrators who belong to two or more linked portals can copy a client (profile + pets + login) into another portal with one click.Single branded mobile app
If you purchase a branded app, one app serves all linked portals—ideal for franchises that want consistent branding.
What is not shared
Schedules, invoices, pricing, service settings, and other operational data remain separate.
Reports combine only when an authorized user selects multiple portals; portals themselves do not exchange data behind the scenes.
Setup workflow
Step 1 – Start each portal. Use Try for Free on our website to spin up every location; they will be billed individually.
Step 2 – Submit a ticket. Tell Support which portals to link and which administrator emails need multi-portal access. Support performs the initial connection.
Step 3 – Grant additional access in-house. Once an administrator sees several portals, they can edit any staff account and tick extra portals in the Permissions section.
Step 4 – Switch portals. Staff now use Account menu ▸ Switch Portals to move between locations (one at a time on the native app, multiple tabs in a browser).
