Terminology & Checklists

  • Scheduling Terms – Rename key words used across the site. Enter singular and plural forms (for example, call a Visit an Appointment or label Pet Sitters as Groomers).

  • Checklists – Four textarea fields (Clients House, Clients Visit, Clients Overnights/Vacation, Pets). One item per line becomes the default checklist shown in client or pet profiles; leave a box blank to keep the system’s default lists.

  • Custom Key Locations – Build a list of key storage spots (one per line) that appears in as key location options.


Visibility

  • Tips – Global toggle that enables or disables tipping everywhere (turn Off if your business or region does not accept tips).

  • Invoice line items for $0 (typically canceled) Visits – When On, zero‑priced canceled visits are still listed in client invoices for transparency.

  • "Total Balance Due" in invoice emails – Adds the total balance line of all the clients invoices to each invoice email.

  • Show the Schedule › Ongoing Visits page – Adds a dedicated view listing every ongoing visit schedule in one place.

  • Clients to see the Specific Times for their Visit on their schedule – Reveals exact start times if you enter them; clients still cannot request specific times.


Permissions

  • Allow Clients to request Ongoing Visits – Lets clients submit an ongoing (recurring) visit request on their own.

  • Allow ONLY Administrators to export Clients – Locks the client‑list export to Administrators.


Communication

  • Allow Pet Sitters to Message each other – Gives sitters peer‑to‑peer messaging if they appear in Staff Contacts

  • Send automatic Visit Confirmation Emails regardless of Visit status – Normally clients receive a confirmation only after a sitter accepts; turning this On sends it immediately for every new request.

  • CC Primary and Secondary Pet Sitters when profiles are updated – Sends profile‑update notices to the primary and secondary sitters assigned to that client.

  • Default the payment confirmation email to not send – If toggled, payment confirmations are disabled unless manually turned on per payment.
